Fun Steps: English through Play
Creativity, Fun, and Learning for Little Ones
At The Cooperative Learning Center, we know that children learn best when they don’t even realize they are “studying.” Fun Steps is our immersive afternoon program designed for children aged 5 to 9, where the English language comes to life through imagination and action.
As a private school founded by a cooperative of parents and teachers, we prioritize the well-being and natural curiosity of every child, creating a serene and stimulating environment.
Learning by Doing
Forget traditional desks and rote memorization. In Fun Steps, learning is active and hands-on:
- Creative Workshops: We use English as the “language of doing.” From arts and crafts to drawing, every project is an opportunity to learn new vocabulary in a concrete way.
- Games and Movement: Group games, music, and storytelling help children become familiar with the sounds of the language naturally and without stress.
- A Creative Bridge: Sessions take place in the afternoons, between 14:00 and 17:00, offering a perfect transition from the school day into an afternoon of discovery and fun.
Why Choose Fun Steps?
- Natural Acquisition: By using English during play, children develop authentic pronunciation and the confidence to express themselves without fear.
- Small Groups: Our cooperative structure ensures small class sizes, allowing every child to be followed with care and individual attention.
- A Welcoming Environment: Located in the heart of Desenzano, our center is a safe space where community and education meet.
Our Cooperative Philosophy
As an organization founded by parents for their own children, our priority isn’t profit—it’s the harmonious growth of our young students. The Cooperative Learning Center is a community where qualified teachers and families collaborate to offer high-quality, flexible, and child-centered education.
